Join Cliff and explore the unappreciated history of this area of rippling shingle, from a vanished 18th century harbour to 19th century defences, blue boulders, interwar colonisation and plotland development. Copies of ‘The Changing Shore’ second edition by Mike & Ruth Saville, which contains many revealing photos from the past, will be on sale.

This is a 3.5km walk over some rough ground, so walking boots are strongly advised.
