After last year’s highly successful event, the 2nd Festive Makers Market at the Rye Harbour Discovery Centre takes place on the 12th and 13th of November 2022.

This year, the centre is hosting 20 very talented local artists and makers who will be selling their work. These stallholders have been very carefully selected and will display, sell and share information about a range of items, including handmade ceramics, home wares, jewellery, stained glass, mosaics, textiles, chocolate and much more.

In addition, the Discovery Centre’s regular retail will be transformed to include many extra festive items, such as Christmas cards, advent calendars and a beautiful selection of gifts and toys. There is also the chance to see and buy the special edition Rye Harbour Nature Reserve 2023 calendar, featuring photographs by reserve manager, Barry Yates. At the same time, the Lime Kiln Café will be offering a festive menu with mince pies, turkey sandwiches and spiced punch.

The Festive Makers Market takes place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November 2022 at the Rye Harbour Discovery Centre, from 10am to 4pm on both days. This event is free to attend but there will be plenty of items to purchase.
