We’re delighted to welcome folk singer, Fay Hield to Rye.

With one of the finest voices of her generation, Fay is supported by Sam Sweeney (ex Bellowhead) on fiddle and Rob Harbron “a concertina wizard,” The Guardian.

Her first two solo albums, Looking Glass and Orfeo, were released on the prestigious Topic Records folk label and they have won Fay many accolades as well as a nomination for the Horizon Award at the BBC Folk Awards.

Her choice of material and her delivery of it reflect a rare sensibility and appreciation of the tradition and is highly distinctive.
