The festival is delighted to welcome back ‘The Violet Jive’ to perform at the festival this year at the Kino Outdoor stage.

Musical ‘Mixologists’, The Violet Jive offer up a voluptuous tiki style cocktail of sounds, blending styles and eras into one colourful, intoxicating hit of Swing, Latin, Rock & Roll, Hip Hop, Exotica, Movie Themes & Beyond!

Line up will be the full Quartet with Sax. ‘A sound both fresh and retro!’

Movies, Movies, Movies! (where great music from all eras often gets discovered) …aside from influencing their original music, most of the Jive’s covers set features songs from films like Pulp Fiction, The Jungle Book and countless other screen gems.

The Violet Jive have supported Grammy winning, multi-platinum Jazz/Soul voice Gregory Porter, played on top of Mount Pilatus in Switzerland and enjoy yearly spots at their favourite Festy – the Rye International Jazz & Blues Festival.
