Blending styles and flavours of a distinctly retro/alternative nature into a ‘musical mixology’ all his own, revered guitarist and singer Shakes Luano (AKA Steve Spall / The Violet Jive) will be showcasing his offbeat yet emotive original material live here at The Brewery Yard Club.

Encompassing moody Latin ballads, Rockabilly mash-ups and Neo-Soul grooves for an eclectic set of audio pleasures. All garnished with a dash of quirky cover action to further sweeten the evening’s cocktail of sound.

Joined by Paul Beeching on Double Bass and Paul May -Drums/Percussion, the Trio will take you on a lush journey through exotic Rhythms and Tremolo soaked guitar prowess to otherworldly spaces and places!
